What data do we collect?

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

  • Consultation form: Your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), website URL (optional), and a description of your needs.
  • Business Health Check email: If you choose to email your results, your email address and assessment data.
  • Invoicing tool: Any data you enter into invoices and quotations stays entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.

How do we use your data?

  • To respond to your consultation requests
  • To provide you with business assessment results (if emailed)
  • To improve our tools and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Browser-based tools

Most of our business tools (Strategy Generator, Financial Health Checker, Revenue Calculator, Invoicing & Quotation) run entirely in your browser. The data you enter is processed locally and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to email results.

Some tools use localStorage to save your work between sessions. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • EmailJS: For sending consultation form submissions. Subject to EmailJS Privacy Policy.
  • CDN providers (unpkg, cdnjs, Google Fonts): For delivering JavaScript libraries and fonts. These services may collect anonymised usage data.

Cookies

summcore.com uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site — including page views, traffic sources, and tool usage. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised, aggregated data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Session data for rate limiting is stored server-side and is not used for tracking.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption on all pages
  • Input sanitisation and validation on all form submissions
  • Rate limiting on form submissions to prevent abuse
  • Content Security Policy headers to prevent cross-site scripting

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@summcore.com.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
